Featuring exhibits of Norwegian-style crafts, children’s activities, music, sales of Scandinavian gift items, homemade Norwegian baked goods, and a light lunch with Norwegian foods.

ENTERTAINMENT:
*11:15 AM - Leikaringen Heimhug dancers  - The oldest existing Scandinavian folk dance group in the Chicago area will perform.





*Following Leikaringen Heimhug, Bert and Lindy Griesbach will perform.  Bert and Lindy are Carol (Bert) Griesbach and Linden (Lindy) Griesbach, members of SON District 5 Valhall Lodge. They have performed at the Stockholm Inn in Rockford, 2 Rivers Bluegrass Festival, and farmers markets.   Inspired by Bert’s heritage they include some Norwegian songs in that performance.  Come on November 9 to hear a lively concert of Norwegian folk tunes, and bluegrass songs.

From Highway 53, exit west on West Euclid Avenue, past South Plum Road to Quentin. Turn north on Quentin, cross West Illinois Ave. and the church is on your left just before you reach West Gilbert Road.

PLEASE HELP PROMOTE THIS EVENT
Tell your friends and neighbors about the fest. Volunteers are needed to set up, take down equipment at the fest, bake Norwegian pastries and help during the fest itself.

BAKE SOME GOODIES FOR US!
Members, please bake and bring LOTS of home-made baked items of all sorts. While people love our home baked goods, they don't have to be Norwegian, everything is always very well received.
